Welcome to the Lone Star Animal Welfare League Membership page.

It is not a requirement to be a member of the Club to frequent the park. The parks are managed and maintained by The Community Associations of The Woodlands Parks and Recreation Department .. but by joining the club you will help us with our mission of supporting local rescue groups. All of our proceeds will directly support our mission.

If you do choose to participate, please fill out our Online Membership Application below. Mail-in membership applications are also available here. We look forward to you being a member of our club.

MISSION:
The Lone Star Animal Welfare League was founded in 2004 as The Woodlands Dog Park Club. Our goals serve to promote not only better, healthier lives for the pets in our community, but promote a better existence for the homeless animals who are in great need of our assistance and advocacy. Membership is not required to use the parks.

GOALS:

Raise Spay/Neuter awareness. Sponsor discounted and free spay/neuter vouchers to those in need of assistance.

Save Labrador Retrievers and Lab Mixes from euthanasia through Operation Save-a-Lab.

Lend aid to our local shelter.

Lend aid to local 501c3 rescue groups for veterinary emergencies.

Promote safe off-leash environment for socialization and encourage responsible pet ownership.

Partner with The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation to establish an educated dog-friendly community.

I agree to be a considerate and responsible dog owner and guardian by caring for my dog's health needs, safety and quality of life. As a member of Lone Star Animal Welfare League, I will uphold the goals and mission statement of the club and conduct all my affairs concerning the club in such a way that my behavior does not bring discredit to the club's image. NOTE: Dogs must have all current vaccinations and required licensing.
